Fullness, fibre and protein

Eating until you're satisfied is part of the solution, not the problem. Some foods keep you full longer than others.

Fill your plate wisely

Vegetables, legumes and whole grains add volume and fibre. The official Danish dietary guidelines recommend more of these and less highly processed food high in sugar and fat.

Protein at each meal

Protein (fish, eggs, dairy, beans, chicken) contributes to fullness and helps preserve muscle during weight loss.

Listen to your body

Try rating hunger and fullness on a 1–10 scale. It's not about doing it perfectly — it's about learning your own signals.
